Posted to Sarawak via Singapore on the 16th September 1941to work on the 2/15th Punjab Regiment vehicles.
When the Japanes invaded Sarawak he traveled to the south of Borneo and was evacuated to Java.
Captured in Java after the surender on the 12.03.1942
Transported to Singapore onboard the Hiteru Maru on the 14.9.1942 in Java Party 1
Transported back to  Sarawak , Borneo on board an ex british ship on the 9/10.10.1942

Died in Prisoner of War Camp in Kuching , Sarawak , Borneo
